Transforming an Outdated Kitchen into a Modern Heart of the Home
Recently, the team at M&S General Contracting had the pleasure of updating a beautiful home right here in Conroe, TX. The homeowners reached out to us because their existing kitchen felt cramped, outdated, and lacked the functional storage a busy family needs. They wanted a modern, bright, and welcoming space.
We worked closely with them to design and build exactly what they envisioned. Here is a breakdown of what we updated during this remodel:
Custom Cabinetry: We removed the dark, bulky cabinets and installed modern, soft-close cabinets in shaker-style white, instantly brightening the room.
Upgraded Countertops: To give the kitchen a luxury feel, we installed durable quartz countertops with plenty of prep space.
Modern Fixtures & Lighting: We swapped out the old lighting for sleek pendant lights over the island and added under-cabinet lighting to highlight the new subway tile backsplash.
As you can see in the photos above, the final result is a massive transformation! The space is now open, highly functional, and perfect for both cooking and entertaining.
